Alan Christie - LC Conductors
Alan Christie is from Calgary Alberta, he moved to Edmonton in 2006 after accepting a position at CN. Before railroading Alan worked in various customer service jobs in Calgary including working for a Telus phone dealership, at Little Caesars, as well as The Shoe Company. It was in 2006 when Alan started at CN, first training in the St. Albert Inn. As someone with no drivers license Alan was a part of the union's fight to have the company supply taxis to and from Scotford for spare and forced employees back in 2009 after the company refused to provide them. Alan alternates between working the Edson pool as well as assignments, he especially enjoys working on the 808 assignment. As a fan of the arts Alan really enjoys Karaoke and can be seen singing at various locations around the city. The reason Alan got into the union in the first place was to assist in the fight for our brothers and sisters rights. Believing strongly in the power of solidarity as well as respecting the sacrifices past generations have made to get us to the place we are now in this industry and country in general Alan will keep fighting the good fight, knowing it will be a constant struggle.
